First solid food (or taking the new chair for a test spin)
We felt that VK was ready to be introduced to "solid" food, which really means rice cereal at this point. It is more milk than cereal, but it is a pretty good start. She really likes the spoon, and the sippy cup and is doing well in her new highchair. Here is photo evidence of the experience, which was messy and hilarious.
Practicing for VK's first "solid" food, she needs some work.

Are VK's eyes turning blue?? It kind of looks like it from a couple of these pictures.

Her eyes are almost exactly like mine, appearing green/blue/grey depending on the light, mood, and clothing she is wearing.
I love picasa & hello--especially for having a baby, because if you don't have a lot of time on your hands, it gives you an outlet to construct a baby book of sorts that everyone can enjoy. Later, as you have time, you can work on the real baby book. I've heard from friends that it is really hard to find the time to work on the baby book the first few months. Everyone has about five minutes (I hope), though, to sit down at the computer and document what they can--especially if they are a fast typer, and have great programs like picasa & hello on their side.
