A business trip with the family!

I had a business trip to Tacoma come up last week, and given that I have been traveling like a fool lately we thought it might be nice to take the family along and at least be able to see them in the evening. As an added bonus Tim also brought his wife and family.

During the day Andrea, Heather, VK and Logan went shopping around Seattle, and in the evening we all met and had dinner then hung out at the hotel.

I admit to having my reservations at first, it was a business trip after all and I was concerned that it might be more effort than it was worth, but after finishing up with the customer we went out to dinner and it really started to sink in that anytime I get to see my family instead of being without them is good.

Logan is nearly 2 years old (about 8 months older than VK) but they have a lot of fun together. Heather and Andrea had a blast shopping and tooling around the Seattle area, and we all had a wonderful time at dinner.

The kids travelled amazingly well, VK slept well in her pack and play, was great in the car and I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.
