Here's VK's note to Santa plus his cookies and milk. VK was very worried about how Santa was going to get Butterscotch down the chimney. We left the front door open for him just in case. As tradition goes, we let VK open one present from mom and dad. Dad got her ballet pj's and mom got her a xmas book.

The Nutcracker

VK loves the story of the Nutcrack so Grandma Diane and I decided to risk taking her to see the ballet. VK also loves ballet. Anyways, VK did great. She sat thru the whole thing and asked lots of questions. It was an excellent performance - Grandma even cried!! Another annual event!!

Eagle Crest Resort

Back in the beginning of December we got to stay at Eagle Crest for a long weekend. It was the perfect time to go as they were set up for Christmas festivities. VK got to ask Santa for Butterscotch, frost cookies and take a sleigh ride around the property to check out all the lights. It was a great time had by all. I hope to make it a yearly tradition! Thanks to Grandma for making it all possible - maybe next year you'll actually get ot go with us!!

Hey Everybody, I am trying to catch up with the last couple of months now that I have some free time - that is sarcasm for those who don't recognize it. No really - I apologize for being a lousy blogger - obviously not my forte. Maybe we could all lobby to have Chris take it over again (hint, hint).

Below are pictures from the Pop Warner Western Conference finals in San Diego. We flew down to see the Friday after Thanksgiving. David's team won and left for DisneyWorld the following Saturday for the Superbowl which they lost. It was a short but great trip. VK and I extended our trip a couple of days to hang out which is always FUN!

We had Thanksgiving at John and Diane's which was also our first trip to Grandma's house with VK. She did great and fun was had by all which is probably why we don't have any pictures.
